Warwick Davis has reportedly been pictured with his new girlfriend for the very first time — the woman he once credited with helping him “laugh and love again” following the heartbreaking death of his wife.
The beloved actor, 56, is said to have brought the mystery woman, known only as “Sponge,” with him to Windsor Castle this week as he collected his OBE from Prince William.
The appearance comes nearly a year after Warwick first hinted he had found comfort and companionship again following the loss of his wife Samantha “Sammy” Davis, who died in 2024.

A quiet presence at a major moment
According to reports, Sponge joined Warwick alongside his family at the prestigious ceremony. His mother Susan, daughter Annabelle, 28, and son Harrison, 23, were also there to witness the emotional milestone.
During the ceremony at Windsor Castle, the group watched proudly as Warwick received the honour from the Prince of Wales in recognition of his services to drama and charity.
Warwick famously co-founded the charity Little People UK with his late wife Sammy in 2012, dedicating years to supporting individuals with dwarfism and their families.
After the ceremony, Warwick posed for photographs with his children and later gave an interview shared on the Kensington Palace Instagram page. However, the actor did not publicly pose for pictures with his reported new partner.

The woman he once called “Sponge”
Fans first heard about Sponge during Warwick’s emotional speech when he received the BAFTA Fellowship Award last year.
In the heartfelt address, he paid tribute to his late wife Sammy, but also revealed that someone new had helped him rediscover joy.
He explained that Sponge had shown him that “life can still have meaning and helped me to laugh and to love again.”
The touching comment sparked curiosity at the time, as Warwick offered no further details about the woman who had clearly played a significant role in helping him heal.

A touching moment with Prince William
The Windsor Castle ceremony also featured a warm exchange between Warwick and Prince William.
To ensure they were speaking at eye level, the Prince of Wales bent down to talk with the actor — a gesture Warwick later described as thoughtful and kind.
He said it was lovely the way William came down to his level instead of standing and looking down at him.
Reflecting on the special day, Warwick added that having his family there made the moment even more meaningful. He explained that when you attend an event like that alone, you have to later recount the experience to your loved ones — but sharing it together made it far more special.
The actor also revealed that Prince William was surprised he had never previously received a royal honour.
Warwick recalled the prince asking him if he already had one, to which he replied no. He joked that he briefly worried that if he had said yes, William might have told him he couldn’t have another one.
The prince responded that he was genuinely surprised Warwick had not been honoured before — a comment the actor said meant a great deal to him.
