THEY FACED THEIR DARKEST MOMENT… NOW THIS SWEET FAMILY SCENE SAYS IT ALL: Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing step out with baby Ziggy after ‘terrifying’ birth ordeal

Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing were seen enjoying a relaxed family stroll with their baby son Ziggy, just weeks after opening up about the frightening reality of his birth.

The couple, who met on Made in Chelsea, looked completely at ease as they walked through Notting Hill with their five-month-old son, embracing a quiet moment together after an emotional chapter in their lives.

Sophie, 31, appeared radiant in denim jeans, a white shirt layered under a brown bomber jacket, and a New York Yankees cap. Jamie, 37, kept things casual in a white T-shirt and black trousers as he pushed Ziggy in his pram.

The trio were spotted picking up essentials and flowers, enjoying a simple weekend outing that stood in stark contrast to the ordeal they had recently faced.

That ordeal, as Jamie later revealed, was something he could never have prepared for. When Sophie was rushed in for an emergency C-section at the Lindo Wing — the same place where Kate Middleton gave birth — he described the experience as the most terrifying moment of his life.

He said it was the scariest thing he had ever been through, watching the person he loves go through such distress while feeling completely powerless.

Sophie also admitted she was “really scared” when complications forced her into an unplanned birth. While it wasn’t the experience she had hoped for, she said she felt grateful that Ziggy arrived safely and healthy, adding that every birth journey is different and equally incredible.

The emotional experience had a lasting impact on Jamie, who said he now sees every mother pushing a pram as a hero after witnessing what women go through during childbirth.

The couple are documenting their journey into parenthood in their Disney+ series Raising Chelsea, but filming Ziggy’s birth was never part of the original plan.

Sophie initially insisted that she wanted to keep the moment private. However, during the emergency, their anaesthetist used their phone to capture photos — unknowingly recording an 11-minute video of the birth.

When Sophie discovered the footage the following day, she described it as incredibly emotional. Watching it back, both she and Jamie were struck by how much love they could see between them in such a raw and vulnerable moment.

Jamie admitted he was surprised by what he saw, saying that watching the footage made him realise just how deeply in love they were. After reflecting on it, Sophie ultimately decided the video should be included in their show, believing it would be powerful for others to witness.
