Hollywood star Natalie Portman has revealed she is expecting her third child at the age of 44 — describing the pregnancy as “such a miracle” in an emotional new interview.
The Oscar-winning actress confirmed the joyful news on Friday, sharing that the baby will be her first with French music producer Tanguy Destable, whom she began dating last year.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Natalie said she and Tanguy are “very excited,” adding that she feels deeply grateful for the experience. She admitted that she is “very aware” of how fortunate she is, calling pregnancy both a privilege and something she does not take for granted.
The actress reflected on her upbringing as the daughter of a fertility doctor, explaining that she grew up understanding how difficult pregnancy can be for many people. Because of that, she said she always tries to approach the topic with sensitivity, noting that while it is a “beautiful, joyous thing,” it is also “not an easy thing.”
Natalie is already a mother to two children — son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, nine — from her previous marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millepied. The couple split in 2023 and finalized their divorce in 2024.

Her relationship with Tanguy was first reported in March last year, marking a new chapter in her personal life following the end of her marriage.
Now, as she prepares to welcome another child, Natalie shared that her perspective has shifted with age. She explained that she feels a deeper sense of calm and clarity about who she wants around her and what truly matters, adding that she is cherishing every moment — especially as she believes this could be her last pregnancy.
Despite expectations, the star said she feels surprisingly energetic and is staying active by swimming and practicing gyrotonics to keep strong.
Away from the spotlight, Natalie continues to prioritise family life, spending as much time as possible with her children, whom she keeps out of the public eye.

She has previously explained that while she is open in private life, she made a conscious decision early on to protect her children’s privacy — refusing to include them in photoshoots or public appearances.
For Natalie, motherhood remains a constant source of joy. She shared that watching her children grow into their own individuals is one of the most exciting parts of her life, adding that spending time with friends and their children has become one of her favourite ways to unwind.
