Brooklyn Beckham appeared carefree as he stepped out with his wife Nicola Peltz for Elton John’s annual Oscars viewing party on Sunday night—just hours after sparking fresh controversy for failing to acknowledge his mother Victoria Beckham on Mother’s Day.
The 27-year-old chef attended the glamorous charity event hosted by his godfather, Sir Elton John, which raises millions each year for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Despite the ongoing tensions with his famous family, Brooklyn seemed relaxed as he arrived alongside Nicola at the star-studded celebration.

Nicola drew attention in a sleek, form-fitting black gown as she cosied up to Brooklyn on the red carpet, while he opted for a classic black suit for the evening. The couple looked loved-up as they mingled with fellow guests at the high-profile Hollywood gathering.
Among the stars attending the annual event were singer Dua Lipa and her fiancé Callum Turner, who also posed affectionately for cameras. Sharon Osbourne made an appearance with her son Jack Osbourne, marking one of his first public outings since welcoming a baby daughter earlier this month. Other celebrity guests included Yungblud, Lola Young and actress Nathalie Emmanuel.

However, Brooklyn’s appearance at the glittering bash came just hours after he ignited fresh speculation about his ongoing family rift. While millions across the UK celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing heartfelt tributes to their mums, Brooklyn remained silent about his estranged mother Victoria Beckham.
Instead, the US-based influencer used social media to celebrate another maternal figure in his life—his mother-in-law, Claudia Heffner Peltz.
Brooklyn posted a photo of himself with Nicola and Claudia on Instagram shortly before Mother’s Day began in Britain, writing: “Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law. Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.”

Claudia’s birthday actually fell on March 12, making the timing of the tribute appear particularly pointed to some observers, as many fans in the UK woke up to the post on Mother’s Day morning.
Nicola also shared her own emotional message celebrating her mother. She wrote: “Happy Birthday to my mom! The pure fact that I get to call you mom makes me truly the luckiest ever. I’m so happy I got to spend your special day with you. I love celebrating you—your light is so bright you make everything better in this world. I love you more than you will ever understand. I hope all your dreams and wishes come true!”

Meanwhile, David Beckham publicly honoured his wife Victoria with a heartfelt Mother’s Day message on social media. Posting a throwback photo from when Victoria was pregnant, he wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing mummy. You are an inspiration in all the ways a mum should be to our four amazing children.”
Brooklyn’s continued silence toward his mother has only intensified speculation about the long-rumoured tensions within the Beckham family, with fans closely watching each new social media move for clues about the state of their relationship.
