“Sixth Holiday in Six Months!”: Sue and Noel Radford Face Fierce Backlash as They Jet Off Again, With Fans Saying They Have ‘Too Much Money’ After Being Branded ‘Tone Deaf’ Over Their Cancelled Dubai Trip

Sue and Noel Radford have sparked another wave of backlash after revealing they had jetted abroad for yet another getaway — their sixth holiday in just six months.

The 22 Kids and Counting stars, Sue, 50, and Noel, 55, had already caused controversy earlier this week when Sue complained online after a planned trip to Dubai was cancelled.

But just days after that rant — which many fans branded “tone deaf” amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East — the couple announced they had swiftly switched destinations and flown to the Canary Islands instead.

Sharing a snap from the airport on Facebook and Instagram, the pair teased their followers with a simple caption: “Couple of nights away.”

The photo showed a glass of bubbly and a beer on a table with EasyJet planes visible in the background, hinting at the start of another sunny escape.

At first, the couple kept their destination secret, prompting fans to speculate where they were heading as Sue playfully asked: “Where will we end up?”

It wasn’t until a later post — showing lush tropical plants — that followers realised the Radfords had landed in the Canary Islands.

However, not everyone was impressed.

Many social media users flooded the comments with criticism, accusing the reality TV couple of constantly travelling and flaunting their wealth.

One person wrote: “Never at home lol.”

Another added: “They’re always going away, too much cash.”

Others were even harsher, commenting: “Who gives a s**t,” and “On yet another holiday.”

The backlash comes just days after Sue had already been criticised online for complaining about their cancelled Dubai break.

In a lengthy Instagram post earlier this week, Sue explained that their children had surprised her and Noel with a weekend trip to Dubai and that they had been due to fly out on Wednesday.

But escalating tensions in the Middle East — with Israel and Iran launching fresh strikes — disrupted travel plans across the region.

Frustrated, Sue took aim at the travel company while sharing her experience with followers.

“Anyway hands up who’s been having a nightmare with travelup1 because I think there’s going to be lots of you,” she wrote.

“Phone line’s dead so guessing they have turned them off and no response from them to emails. I have commented on their Insta page but all of our comments have been deleted… and there have been lots from very unhappy customers.”

Sue later admitted she had eventually heard back from the company but insisted the way the situation had been handled was unacceptable.

“I know we are safe in this country but even if you wanted to rebook you can’t because they aren’t dealing with it,” she said.

She also stressed that the point of her post was not about wanting to travel again immediately.

“The point of this post is that we do not want to rebook — I would imagine lots wouldn’t — but this company switching phones off is not the way to go about it.”

However, many commenters felt the post was poorly timed given the seriousness of the situation overseas.

One critic wrote: “Others are hiding in hotel rooms and basements, and many are stranded fearing for their lives. Your holiday does not matter right now.”

Another added: “Maybe think of the people living out there right now.”

A third said: “How insensitive. People have died and there is a war going on — and you’re moaning because you can’t go on holiday to Dubai?”

The Radford family are no strangers to luxury travel.

Over the past year alone, Sue, Noel and their enormous brood have enjoyed at least eight holidays to destinations including Lapland, Italy, the Caribbean, Florida, Paris and Dubai.
