Shock moment Katie Price abruptly ends podcast to take call from the police after claims husband Lee has ‘been arrested’

Katie Price stunned listeners after suddenly cutting short her latest podcast to take an urgent phone call from police amid the ongoing mystery surrounding her missing husband Lee Andrews.

The former glamour model, 47, was recording an episode of The Katie Price Podcast with sister Sophie when the dramatic interruption unfolded live on air. Katie has not heard from Lee, 43, since Wednesday night, with the businessman allegedly sending frantic messages claiming he had been arrested and taken to a “black site” in Dubai before disappearing completely.

The bizarre situation has left Katie emotionally exhausted, admitting her “anxiety levels are sky high” as British authorities, Dubai police and even Interpol continue investigating his whereabouts.

During the episode, Katie initially appeared distracted while discussing Eurovision, brutally slamming this year’s contest as “so s***” and saying she would “never watch it again.”

But things took an even stranger turn moments later when Sophie attempted to continue a light-hearted Q&A segment and was suddenly met with silence from her sister.

After an awkward pause, Sophie could be heard saying: “I can’t hear her…”

The recording then abruptly stopped before Sophie returned to explain the shocking interruption to listeners.

She said: “Right guys, sorry about that little intermission. Kate has had to shoot off because she’s taking a call from the police, so that is it for today’s episode.

“Come back next week. Hopefully next week will be a bit calmer. We’ll keep you posted.”

Katie later revealed she is now stepping away from personally searching for Lee and leaving the investigation entirely in the hands of authorities.

“There’s nothing I can do, nothing more that I can say,” she admitted.

“And the police are dealing with it. I’m just leaving it to the police.

“I’m not gonna talk about it anymore, I’m just staying quiet because it’s getting ridiculous now, people just taking the p**s out of everything.”

The TV personality also insisted that major agencies are now involved in the investigation, adding: “The police are now handling it, the British police, British consulate, the foreign office, Interpol they’re on the case looking for Lee.”

Despite the chaos surrounding her marriage, Katie insisted she refuses to put her life on hold while waiting for answers.

“What am I supposed to do, sit here and cry and do nothing, stay in bed?” she said.

“For my own sanity, I am taking a step back.”

The disappearance saga has continued to spark intense speculation online after reports emerged suggesting Lee had recently been active on WhatsApp and Facebook despite being officially reported missing.

Katie later claimed she herself had access to Lee’s social media accounts and had been using them.

The final texts Lee allegedly sent Katie painted an alarming picture, with him claiming he had been detained and bundled into a van.

“It’s a black site, I love you, I sort it. I’m in the van… just being detained wtf,” he reportedly wrote.

He also begged Katie to contact the British embassy and claimed unidentified individuals had confiscated his second phone.

However, the mystery deepened after CID headquarters reportedly confirmed that no one under Lee’s name had been arrested in Dubai.

Meanwhile, fresh reports have alleged Lee may actually be hiding out in a run-down villa in Dubai rather than being kidnapped — further fuelling public confusion over the increasingly chaotic situation.
