Scarlett Moffatt has admitted she was left devastated after being eliminated from I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, resulting in an all-male final that has since triggered backlash from viewers.
The former Gogglebox star, 35, was sent home during Thursday night’s episode after finishing last in the brutal “Keep Your Eye on the Ball” trial — a challenge that tested contestants’ focus while they tracked coloured balls through transparent pipes amid heavy distractions.

Visibly emotional after the result, Scarlett confessed she was “gutted” to be leaving at such a crucial stage. She said she was especially disappointed to see only men remain in the competition, adding that she had hoped to represent women in the final. She admitted she would now leave them to enjoy their football chat around the table, a remark that quickly resonated with fans.
Her exit means the final lineup now includes Mo Farah, Harry Redknapp, Adam Thomas and Craig Charles — all competing to be crowned “Legend” by the public.
Viewers rage at ‘unfair’ format
Fans were quick to take to social media, criticising the show’s structure and claiming that stronger personalities — including Scarlett — were unfairly cut before the final.
Many argued that the trial-based eliminations were too harsh and removed the audience’s influence, with calls for a return to traditional public voting throughout the series. Some viewers described the format as frustrating and insisted that several contestants who deserved a place in the final had been eliminated too soon.

Tears, reflection — and a very different Scarlett
Scarlett broke down in tears when hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly confirmed she had the lowest score, meaning her journey ended immediately.
Reflecting on her return to the show — after winning the 2016 series — she admitted her mindset had completely changed. Back then, she felt like an imposter at just 25, unsure of who she was and often overwhelmed. This time, she said she entered the jungle with confidence and self-awareness, allowing her to fully enjoy the experience.
She revealed that what she would miss most were the deep campfire conversations, describing them as moments of connection and reflection without outside distractions. Speaking about Mo Farah, she praised his kindness and forgiveness, saying his presence had genuinely made her a better person.
Scarlett even went as far as saying that if she had reached the final, she would have urged viewers to vote for Mo instead — insisting that nobody deserved the title more than him.

Final chaos looms as drama continues off-screen
As anticipation builds for the live final, hosts Ant and Dec confirmed that the entire cast is expected to reunite — though behind-the-scenes tensions continue to cast a shadow over the finale.
Beverley Callard has already confirmed she will miss the final on medical advice as she continues her cancer treatment, saying she was “absolutely gutted” not to attend despite flights being booked.
Meanwhile, lingering tensions between David Haye and Adam Thomas, along with Jimmy Bullard’s explosive exit earlier in the series, have added to speculation that the reunion could be anything but smooth.
With emotions still running high and fans divided over the format, Friday night’s finale is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable in the show’s history.
