Rylan Clark has surprised fans by offering a rare glimpse at his natural hair colour — and the internet is absolutely loving it.
The TV presenter, 36, is famously known for his slick jet-black hair and matching beard, but in his latest YouTube vlog, fans caught sight of something different: gingery sideburns peeking out beneath his black cap. The reveal happened as he spoke to his mum Linda from Panama, between touch-ups.
Rylan’s signature black look has been carefully maintained for years, masking his natural reddish-brown tones. But this isn’t the first time fans have caught a softer, more natural version of him. In June, he posted a shirtless selfie with his auburn locks falling messily over his forehead, along with the caption:
“Stripped colour from my hair to give it a reset. For anyone wondering, this is me with no colour in and no makeup.”
The response was overwhelming. Fans and celebs flooded the comments with love — praising the look for making his blue eyes pop and saying it made him look years younger. Vicky Pattison called him “still gorgeous,” while Ruth Langsford simply gushed, “I LOVE this colour! Keep it ❤️”.
Even High School Musical comparisons started flying, with Jedward commenting, “It’s giving Troy Bolton, ya wild cat.”
Despite the praise, Rylan appeared shy about embracing the change permanently. But fans are still hopeful:
