Michelle Dockery lit up the red carpet on Monday night, proudly displaying her baby bump at the dazzling New York premiere of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.
Just days after surprising fans with her pregnancy news at the London premiere, the 43-year-old actress – best known as Lady Mary Crawley – reunited with her co-stars at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Dressed in a sparkling black gown that clung elegantly to her growing bump, Dockery looked radiant as she posed for photographers.

While her husband Jasper Waller-Bridge accompanied her in London, in New York Michelle kept close to her on-screen family. She shared a warm embrace with Elizabeth McGovern, who dazzled in a bold neon pink-and-orange sequin gown as she reprised her role as Cora Crawley.
Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith) stunned in a sleek grey dress, while Joanne Froggatt (Anna Bates) made a dramatic impression in a strapless black number with wet-look hair – worlds away from her character’s modest style.

The men of Downton were also out in force, including Hugh Bonneville (Lord Grantham), Allen Leech (Tom Branson), Paul Giamatti (Harold Levinson) and creator Julian Fellowes. Bonneville, 61, had already made headlines at the London premiere after walking the red carpet with his new partner, Heidi Kadlecova.

The night marked a bittersweet celebration: the end of 15 years of Downton Abbey, from its groundbreaking TV run to three cinematic chapters. The final movie, set in 1930 in the wake of the Wall Street Crash, follows Lady Mary through scandal and questions over her right to inherit the estate. The film also honours the memory of Dame Maggie Smith, whose beloved Dowager Countess will be absent for the first time following the actress’s death last year.
As the Crawleys face financial turmoil and social disgrace, The Grand Finale promises to close the curtain on one of Britain’s most iconic dramas with emotion, elegance, and the promise of a new generation.
