Molly Schofield has shut down growing speculation that she recently tied the knot in a secret ceremony, calling out the false reports in a pointed social media post.
The 32-year-old daughter of former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield was at the centre of online buzz last week after a local outlet claimed she had quietly married, surrounded by close family and friends. The story quickly spread, prompting fans to flood her social media with congratulatory messages.
But Molly, who usually keeps a low public profile, wasn’t having it.

Sharing a screenshot of the misleading headline, she wrote: “Sounds like it would have been a lovely day – if any shred of this was true. Can confirm I am not married. But thank you to the many people who were misled and congratulated me.”
Adding to the confusion, the original article included photos of Phillip and his ex-wife Steph at what was claimed to be Molly’s wedding. In reality, the images were taken at Ant McPartlin’s wedding, which the pair attended together as guests.
The mystery surrounding her alleged “groom” was teased by the outlet as “shocking,” but Molly made it crystal clear – there was no wedding and no groom.

This isn’t the first time Molly has stepped into the spotlight to defend herself or her family. In 2023, she hit back at online trolls who targeted her father following revelations about his private life. At the time, she proudly declared: “I am Molly Schofield… and I am proud to be,” silencing critics who speculated about her changing her surname.
As of now, Molly continues to keep her private life just that – private – but isn’t afraid to clap back when false rumours go too far.
