The world of British reality TV has been rocked by the sudden death of former The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall, who has died aged 35 following a tragic accident at a holiday villa in Majorca.
Police were called to a rented property in Santa Margalida early on Wednesday morning, where Jake was discovered with severe head injuries. Authorities believe the injuries were caused by shattered glass after he reportedly smashed into a glass door during a night of partying.
Investigators are currently focusing on the theory that his death was a tragic accident. A police source said they believe the victim died after hitting his head against the glass door, but added that it is still too early to confirm exactly what happened.
Witnesses told officers that Jake had been out partying throughout the night before returning to the villa to continue celebrations. Several people who were staying at the property — four men and two women — have been questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.
Emergency services were alerted at around 7.30am, but despite their efforts, the reality star could not be saved. No arrests have been made, and an autopsy is expected to take place in Palma as authorities continue their inquiries.
Jake, who rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2015, had built a career not only in television but also as a model and entrepreneur. He later stepped away from the show in 2024 to focus on business ventures, including launching his own brand after the collapse of his previous clothing label.

He leaves behind his former partner, Missé Beqiri, known for appearing on Real Housewives of Cheshire, and their daughter River, born in 2017. The pair had an on-and-off relationship over several years, including an engagement in 2018 before eventually parting ways following a series of disputes.
