Katie Price has revealed the bizarre and “surreal” moment her ex-husband Peter Andre came face-to-face with her new husband Lee Andrews — during an unexpected FaceTime call that marked the first time the former couple had spoken in nine years.
The former glamour model, 47, stunned fans earlier this year when she married Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews just ten days after meeting him. Now, in a candid interview, Katie has opened up about the moment her past and present collided in the most unexpected way.
According to the star, the awkward yet oddly friendly introduction happened entirely by accident.

Katie explained that she had been FaceTiming her daughter Princess when the teenager happened to be with her father Peter. Princess then handed the phone over — meaning Katie suddenly found herself speaking to her ex for the first time in nearly a decade.
“Ironically I was FaceTiming Princess the other day when she was with Pete, so she put me onto him,” Katie said. “It was the first time in nine years I’ve seen him.”
But the situation became even more surreal because Katie was sitting at dinner with her new husband Lee at the time.

“I was having dinner with Lee at the time and it was surreal – I was like ‘oh hello ex-husband, welcome to my new husband!’,” she recalled.
To Katie’s surprise, the two men actually ended up having a friendly conversation.
“They had a nice chat,” she added, laughing at the unexpected moment. “I was like ‘what the f*** is going on here?!’”
A complicated history
Katie and Peter first met in 2004 while filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and quickly became one of Britain’s most talked-about celebrity couples.
They married in a lavish ceremony at Highclere Castle in 2005 and welcomed their son Junior the same year. Their daughter Princess followed in 2007.
But the marriage dramatically ended in 2009, sparking years of public feuds and legal disputes between the pair.
Despite the turbulent history, the former couple recently revealed they have finally reached a truce for the sake of their children.
In a joint statement shared publicly, they confirmed they had decided to move forward with “positivity and respect”.
Katie Price and Peter Andre said they had chosen to close the door on the past and focus on creating a calm and supportive environment for their family.
The statement also confirmed that the two stars had reached both a legal and personal agreement that neither would speak negatively about the other going forward.

Love — but taking things slowly
Katie, who has had several high-profile relationships over the years, also reflected on the men she has truly loved in her life.
“I’ve only been in love three times in my entire life: Pete, Dane [Bowers] and now Lee,” she said.
Despite the whirlwind nature of her new marriage, the TV personality insisted she wants to take things slowly when it comes to blending her family with Lee.
Katie said she would not introduce her children to her new husband until the time feels right — even if that takes up to a year.
She explained that stability for her children, Junior and Princess, remains her priority.
Social media thaw
The thaw in relations between the former couple has also been noticed by eagle-eyed fans online.
More than a decade after their explosive split, Katie has quietly started following Peter on Instagram again.
She had previously unfollowed him in 2021 after he sought legal advice over claims she made in her book Harvey & Me.
Now, however, the past appears to be slowly fading. Peter — who is now married to NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh — has also followed Katie back.
For the first time in years, it seems the once-bitter exes may finally be turning a page.
