Nadia Sawalha has reportedly been dropped from Loose Women after a growing backlash over controversial social media posts linked to her husband’s alleged anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
The 61-year-old presenter has been noticeably absent from the ITV panel this week and is also not expected to return next week, with insiders claiming bosses and Nadia are currently “having some space” before discussing whether she will come back to the long-running daytime show.

While away from television, Nadia continued appearing on her YouTube series “Coffee Moaning” alongside husband Mark Adderley, who was recently suspended from the Green Party over alleged anti-Semitic remarks and controversial online content.
During a livestream discussing the local election results, Nadia once again claimed “dark forces” were attempting to destroy her husband’s reputation, particularly within the Labour Party. But insiders at ITV reportedly became increasingly concerned about the nature of the content appearing on the couple’s channel.
One source claimed: “People both on and off camera at ITV have complained to bosses about the nature of the YouTube channel, which has become increasingly conspiratorial and looks like anti-Semitism disguised as anti-Israel rhetoric.”
The insider also alleged there were now concerns among colleagues for Nadia’s wellbeing, saying several staff members believed she had “brought this upon herself through her dangerous posting.”
Nadia has been one of the original stars of Loose Women since the programme launched back in 1999 and has remained one of the show’s most recognisable faces for more than two decades.

Her husband’s suspension from the Green Party came after accusations he shared inflammatory content online, including posts comparing Israel to Nazi Germany and conspiracy theories surrounding major global events. Reports also claimed videos on his YouTube channel praised the “courage” of the October 7 Hamas attacks in Israel.
Despite the controversy, Nadia publicly defended her husband in an emotional 21-minute social media rant, insisting he had been “slandered” and unfairly targeted.
She said: “He is the most decent, kind, super smart man with the hugest of hearts.”
The former EastEnders actress also insisted that accusations against her husband had been taken “out of context” and claimed the couple had recordings that would prove it.
According to insiders, ITV has privately taken a “dim view” of the escalating controversy. Another source explained that both Nadia and the broadcaster currently needed “some calm” before any future discussions about a return could happen.
The broadcaster has so far declined to publicly comment on reports that Nadia has been removed from the programme.
Meanwhile, campaign groups including the Campaign Against Antisemitism and Labour Against Antisemitism have intensified pressure on ITV to investigate her conduct.
Alex Hearn from Labour Against Antisemitism described Nadia’s online activity as “vile” and “unhinged,” warning ITV needed to act before further damage was done to the broadcaster’s reputation.
