Josie Gibson has reportedly grown far closer to her handsome This Morning co-star Sam Wolfenden, with new claims suggesting the pair may now be much more than simply work colleagues.
The 41-year-old TV favourite appeared alongside Sam, 32, during a live This Morning segment from the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday, March 11. But according to reports, the real sparks began flying once filming had wrapped.

Sam, a farrier and social media personality with a huge online following, has built a strong fanbase with more than 1.3 million followers on Instagram and 760,000 on TikTok. Yet it was his off-camera connection with Josie that appears to have stolen the spotlight.
Photos obtained by The Sun reportedly showed the pair sharing lingering looks, touching hands and laughing together while attending the races. One insider claimed: “Josie and Sam have got incredible chemistry. They were very flirty while filming, but it really went up a notch when the cameras stopped rolling. There was a lot of laughter, and they were clearly very comfortable with each other. They didn’t leave each other’s side.”
Josie and Sam are said to have first met almost a year ago during a previous This Morning segment, where Josie was left flustered and admitted she had forgotten the questions she had prepared for him. Since then, it seems their connection may only have deepened.

A source alleged: “Josie and Sam kept in touch after meeting on the show, and it’s fair to say she’s really embraced the horsing world. She’s his biggest cheerleader and really championing his career, and he completely dotes on her.”
The insider went on to suggest the pair are staying deliberately vague when questioned about the nature of their relationship. “They are being very coy about dating, and whenever anyone asks them they just laugh it off. But they have had some very deep conversations – he knows exactly the type of man she is looking for and how important true love is to her,” the source added.
While romance rumours continue to swirl, Sam’s performance as a presenter during the live broadcast drew a mixed reaction online. Some viewers were quick to criticise his hosting skills, with one writing: “Oh dear, that Sam lad is struggling. #cringe.” Another commented: “Who is this Sam guy on This Morning. He’s trying, bless him, but presenting is really not the job for him.”

A third viewer remarked: “Influencer doesn’t equal a TV presenter,” while another added: “Sam, nice eye candy…presenter he’s not.”
Even so, it was not Sam’s presenting that ended up generating the biggest conversation of the day — but the undeniable closeness viewers now believe they are seeing between him and Josie.
