Coleen Nolan has shared an emotional tribute to her late sister Linda Nolan, marking what would have been Linda’s 67th birthday with a deeply personal message that moved fans across the country.
The Loose Women star took to Instagram on February 23 to post a touching black-and-white photo of the sisters smiling together on the TV Choice Awards red carpet – a moment frozen in happier times.
Alongside the image, Coleen wrote: “To my sister Linda on your birthday, thinking of you today, missing your laughter and humour.”
Currently on tour across the UK, Coleen revealed she would be turning her grief into tribute, adding: “Tonight, I’ll be dedicating the show to you.”
She signed off the message with the words: “Love and miss you always, Col xx.”

Linda tragically passed away in January last year at the age of 65 after contracting double pneumonia, following a more than 20-year battle with cancer. Her funeral in Blackpool saw family, friends and fans gather to honour a woman widely described as the heart of the Nolan family.
At the time of her death, Coleen had shared her devastation publicly, saying: “I am utterly devastated by the passing of my sister, Linda. Linda was a beacon of love, kindness and strength. Her wit, humour and laughter was infectious. Her presence would light up any room.”
She added that Linda had “a heart full of compassion” and always knew how to bring comfort and joy to those around her – words that now carry even greater weight as the family marks another milestone without her.

Fans Rally Around Coleen
Support flooded in almost instantly beneath Coleen’s latest post.
One follower wrote that her words were “so lovely, so sad she isn’t here,” while another told her: “She will be shining down on you.” Others sent messages of “Happy heavenly birthday, Linda,” and encouraged Coleen to stay strong during what must be a bittersweet day.
For Coleen, who continues to perform night after night on tour, the stage has become both a place of strength and remembrance – a way to keep her sister’s spirit alive through music and shared memories.
Though Linda may be gone, her laughter, resilience and warmth clearly remain at the centre of her sister’s heart.
