Locked up again! Katie Price faces a fresh nightmare as husband Lee Andrews is arrested again in Dubai over a £120,000 debt

Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has reportedly been arrested once again in Dubai, only weeks after being released from the notorious Al Awir prison.

The 42-year-old businessman was allegedly taken into custody on Friday and brought to Lahab police station, where he is now said to be desperately trying to raise around £120,000 to settle outstanding financial obligations.

According to reports, Lee sent a frantic message to a friend after his latest arrest, saying: “They’ve arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out. We need to make a noise with a Go Fund Me.”

A source claimed Lee had become increasingly anxious in the days before his arrest because he believed he needed to raise a substantial amount of money to clear debts he allegedly owed.

Katie is currently back in the UK following the release of her new Sky documentary and a promotional appearance on This Morning, where she once again stood by her controversial marriage.

Representatives for Katie have been contacted for comment.

Lee’s latest legal setback comes just four weeks after he walked free from Dubai’s Al Awir prison, where he had been detained over fraud allegations. However, Lee has repeatedly insisted he has never been charged with fraud.

Speaking on Instagram after his release, he claimed: “There is not one shred of evidence” proving he had been charged with fraud, while accusing his former fiancée Alana Percival of spreading false claims about him.

He also described a dramatic ordeal before his imprisonment, alleging: “They took me to the Qatar border by the men, at gunpoint and was captured by men with assault rifles.”

Lee added: “They did slap me round a little bit, little s***s.”

Despite his denials, Lee has faced a string of allegations from former partners over the past year.

He was recently accused of taking £5,000 from what was described as a vulnerable woman in an alleged scam. Earlier claims also accused him of convincing former partner Crystal Janke to hand over £123,000 after allegedly promising investment returns of up to £1 million. His ex-fiancée Alana Percival has also publicly warned others about him.

Lee has consistently denied any wrongdoing or involvement in fraudulent schemes.

Earlier this year, Daily Mail reported that Lee had allegedly taken out a £200,000 mortgage using the name of former partner Dina Taji without her knowledge. The legal dispute reportedly resulted in a travel ban preventing him from leaving the UAE.

Although Dina has declined to publicly discuss the case, she reportedly met with Katie to warn her about remaining in the relationship.

The latest developments come after reports suggested Lee had narrowly avoided returning to prison by convincing a court to give him two weeks to settle his debts.

Court documents reportedly show that his outstanding liabilities include around £54,000 linked to a rental car agreement and approximately £15,000 owed to a UAE law firm, among other financial obligations.

A representative for Lee previously said: “The judgement debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt.

“He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment.

“He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount.”

Another source claimed: “Lee managed to talk himself out of jail, and said he would be able to raise the capital himself.”

The source added that while Katie had supported Lee during his previous imprisonment by helping him communicate with officials, he insisted he had not asked her to pay off his debts.

The reports surfaced only days after Katie admitted during an appearance on This Morning that her family refuses to meet Lee because of the controversy surrounding him.

Promoting her new documentary, she explained: “I said to Lee when he got out of prison, ‘don’t go on socials’.”

She continued: “It’s not really fair on me now, you have just got to stay away from it because it’s become such a gimmicky joke now.”

Katie also revealed that her relatives have little interest in meeting her husband.

“My family want nothing to do with him because it’s become such a joke now,” she admitted.

“I want them to meet him but they’re like ‘no’, but they are protecting me.”

Reflecting on her past relationships, Katie added: “If you see my documentary you will see how many times men have let me down. They are protecting me that they don’t want another one to use me or break me.

“I have had therapy. I won’t let another man break me or use me.”
