Kerry Katona Admits She’s ‘Scared’ After Finding Mysterious Lumps – Emergency Appointment Sparks Health Fears

Kerry Katona has revealed she’s battling a fresh health scare after discovering painful lumps in her jaw, prompting an emergency dental appointment and growing concern about what might be behind the discomfort.

Writing in her New! magazine column, the former Atomic Kitten star, 44, admitted she’s feeling “nervous” and “run down” as doctors prepare to run tests. “I had so much pain on the left side of my face, I had to get an emergency dentist appointment. They found lumps in my jaw that they think might be related to my glands,” she shared.

Kerry also acknowledged her tendency to panic when it comes to her health. “I’m a massive hypochondriac at the best of times, so I’m feeling a bit nervous about it all, to be honest,” she wrote candidly.

This isn’t the first time Kerry has faced a serious health concern. Last year, she was left terrified after doctors found blood in her cervix, fearing it might be cancer. “In my head I thought: ‘I’ve got cancer, I’m going to die,’” she confessed. The experience was so intense, she even considered marrying her then-partner Ryan Mahoney to secure legal guardianship for her daughter DJ, following the death of DJ’s father George Kay in 2019.

Fortunately, test results later ruled out cancer, with doctors attributing her symptoms to stress.

Now juggling a whirlwind filming schedule for Celebs Go Dating and launching a wellness project in Thailand, Kerry suspects that burnout may be to blame for her latest health issue. “Life has been so full-on. It’s crazy what stress can do to our bodies and cycles.”

Despite the worries, she remains upbeat. Kerry gave a shoutout to her glam squad and shared her excitement over Donna Preston joining the dating show cast, hinting at some fun ahead: “Hopefully she finds love and we can go on some double dates!”
