Kelly Osbourne shares a heart-melting moment with her son Sidney after fiercely hitting back at body-shamers during the most painful period of her life

Kelly Osbourne has shared a touching moment with her young son Sidney, just days after fiercely responding to cruel body-shaming comments directed at her online.

The television personality, 41, who is the daughter of late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and TV host Sharon Osbourne, posted an adorable video to Instagram featuring her three-year-old son.

In the sweet clip, Kelly sits on a bed beside Sidney — whom she shares with partner Sid Wilson, a DJ and keyboard player — as the pair exchange a playful and affectionate conversation.

Looking into the camera with a warm smile, Kelly greets viewers by saying, “Good morning,” prompting Sidney to repeat the greeting back to her.

Clearly delighted, she then encourages her son to spread the love, telling him: “Say I love you.” She continues cheerfully, adding, “We love you guys, good morning, good morning, good morning.”

Sidney happily echoes the cheerful greetings, leaving Kelly visibly moved by the adorable moment. Turning to him lovingly, she adds: “You’re the best, Sidney.”

The heart-warming family clip comes shortly after Kelly faced a wave of online criticism about her appearance.

The backlash intensified following her appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards, where she stepped onto the stage to collect a Lifetime Achievement award on behalf of her late father, Ozzy Osbourne.

Instead of focusing on the emotional tribute, some social media users chose to comment on Kelly’s appearance, prompting widespread outrage from supporters.

Among those who spoke out was Mia Tyler, daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler, who posted a powerful message condemning the online cruelty.

In the statement — later shared by Kelly on her own social media — Mia wrote that grief should never become public entertainment, saying: “Public grief is not public property. Grief can change a person. That doesn’t make their body a topic for debate.”

She added that before judging someone’s appearance, people should remember they may be carrying unseen pain.

Mia continued: “It takes real strength to stand in the public eye accepting accolades for their late iconic father and hold themselves together in front of the world. The least we can do is show the same grace in return.”

The message concluded with a blunt reminder about empathy online, stating: “If you have the kind of energy to comment, you have the energy to be kind. Choose accordingly.”

Kelly later issued her own emotional response to the criticism, admitting she is currently going through one of the hardest periods of her life.

She wrote that the harsh comments only revealed a lack of compassion from those attacking her, saying: “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most… None of it proves strength, it only reveals a profound absence of character.”

Kelly added that she should not have to defend herself while grieving, but insisted she would not allow herself to be treated in such a dehumanising way.

Her father, legendary Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne, passed away in July last year after battling coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s. His death was later confirmed to have been caused by a heart attack.

For many fans, Kelly’s gentle moment with her son offered a glimpse of comfort and resilience during an incredibly painful chapter of her life.
