Katie Price has been urged to “run for the hills” by one of her new husband Lee Andrews’ ex-partners, just days after the couple tied the knot in a whirlwind Dubai ceremony following a romance that lasted barely a week.
The former glamour model, 47, married Lee shortly after announcing their engagement, but the shock wedding was quickly overshadowed by allegations from his ex Alana Percival, who claimed she had been emotionally manipulated during their relationship.
Speaking to The Sun, Alana warned Katie in stark terms, insisting she wished she had listened when others raised red flags about Lee. She alleged that when she attempted to leave him, Lee told her he was living on “borrowed time” due to heart problems. Shortly after, she reinforced her concerns on Instagram, saying she hoped Katie would listen to the warnings she herself had ignored.
Lee has now firmly hit back, denying he ever used his health as leverage in any relationship. He acknowledged he has an issue with his aortic heart valve, explaining that it does not close fully and allows some blood to flow back into the chamber. However, he stressed the condition has never been exaggerated or weaponised.
He said the issue was simply something that came up naturally in conversation with his partner and insisted it has never affected his ability to live an active life. Lee explained that his heart has not enlarged and that the condition does not worsen under physical exertion, adding that medical records from The American Hospital Dubai could confirm he has undergone checks including an echocardiogram.
Dismissing claims that he had used his health to manipulate former partners, Lee insisted the condition remains stable and manageable, describing it as “acute” but not something that has ever been used to gain sympathy or control. He also claimed he had provided a “lavish lifestyle” during his relationship with Alana.
Despite the growing controversy, Katie appears to be standing firmly by her new husband. The couple have continued to post loved-up images online and recently showed off matching tattoos of each other’s names alongside the numbers “11:11”.
Alana has claimed she recognises the significance of the tattoo, alleging that Lee would call her at 11:11 every day during their relationship, telling her he put “100 per cent effort” into her.
For now, Katie has remained silent on the allegations, choosing instead to present a united front with her husband as questions continue to swirl around their lightning-fast marriage.
