Katie Price Slams ‘Disgusting’ Cop Who Used Son Harvey’s Name As An Insult Towards Recruits — Before Being Sacked From The Police Force

Katie Price has spoken out in fury after a police sergeant was dismissed for using her disabled son Harvey’s name as an insult while referring to trainee recruits.

The former glamour model, 47, said she was left deeply hurt and disgusted after Sergeant Natalie Dolan was sacked from Greater Manchester Police following a misconduct hearing on Thursday.

Dolan, 48, was found guilty of gross misconduct after a disciplinary panel heard she had sent inappropriate WhatsApp messages, including one in which she allegedly referred to struggling police recruits as “Harveys”.

The message, sent in August 2021, reportedly read: “And then you have all the Harveys who need to be read to.”

Katie — whose son Harvey, 23, lives with Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and partial blindness — said hearing her son’s name used as a slur caused huge emotional distress.

She told The Sun: “This is not only discriminatory against anyone with a disability or complex needs but, speaking as a mother, it’s disgusting how hurtful and upset it’s made me.

“It has caused anxiety and stress. Constantly I feel I have to protect my children from trolls, and especially Harvey as he’s an easy target because he can’t answer back.”

The misconduct panel concluded Dolan had breached the standards expected of police officers and ruled that her actions represented “a serious departure from expected ethical standards.”

Despite having served for 25 years and previously being considered of good character, Dolan was dismissed with immediate effect.

Greater Manchester Police’s Detective Superintendent Dave Jones condemned the behaviour, saying: “The behaviour identified in this case was wholly unacceptable. There is no place in our organisation for behaviour that discriminates on the grounds of any characteristic.”

The case comes after a series of similar scandals involving offensive messages targeting Harvey.

Back in 2023, eight serving and former Metropolitan Police officers were found guilty of gross misconduct over vile WhatsApp messages, some of which also mocked Katie’s son.

Katie has repeatedly defended Harvey publicly against online abuse and cruel jokes. Earlier this month, she branded comedian Dapper Laughs a “disgusting human being” after he allegedly made Harvey the punchline of jokes during a live comedy performance.
