Katie Price appears to have sent her clearest message yet after removing her wedding ring in a new photo, just days after publicly blasting husband Lee Andrews for failing to fly to the UK again.
The 47-year-old former glamour model, who married Lee, 43, in January, was pictured with her eldest son Harvey, 23, with her ring finger noticeably bare. The huge diamond wedding ring Lee gave her earlier this year was nowhere to be seen.
The move comes after Katie was left embarrassed when Lee failed to join her for their planned joint interview on Good Morning Britain. The couple had been due to appear together for their first TV interview since tying the knot, but Lee never made it to the ITV sofa — or even to the UK.
Katie later issued a blunt warning on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, saying: “Time is running out for Lee and he needs to give a good reason as to why he can’t get back because I am not going back to Dubai.”
She added: “I’ve said to him, he needs to make it to the UK, because if he doesn’t, then it’s obviously something not right going on.”
Katie also admitted she had confronted Lee directly after he repeatedly promised to fly over but failed to arrive.
“It’s the fact you keep saying you’re coming and then don’t come,” she said. “Of course, everyone is going to flag up. Even I’ve flagged it up to him. Big time I’ve flagged it up now. I said, ‘Don’t do that to me again. Me having to go on live TV without you and make me look stupid and a d***.’”
She then appeared to admit that critics may have a point, saying: “No wonder everyone’s saying, ‘You’re this, you’re that’, because they’ve got a reason to say it. I agree, I agree with everyone.”
Lee had claimed he was heading to the UK after posting videos from an airport, but questions were raised when he appeared to say he was flying from Muscat in Oman — while the clips seemed to show Dubai Airport.
There is also ongoing speculation over whether Lee is able to leave the UAE, following allegations linked to a £200,000 loan involving his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji. Lee has denied claims that he forged her signature.
Now, with Katie’s wedding ring gone from sight and her patience seemingly wearing thin, fans are left wondering whether this whirlwind marriage is already heading for its most explosive crisis yet.
