Katie Price has fired back at ex-husband Peter Andre after he issued a blistering statement accusing her of “repeated lies” and revealing previously unseen details of their family court battles

The war of words erupted just hours after Katie had publicly urged Peter to join her for “peace talks” — insisting their daughter Princess, 18, had been “unfairly dragged” into the row. Rumours of a rift between mother and daughter have been swirling since Katie failed to attend Princess’ milestone birthday or appear on her ITV reality series, The Princess Diaries.

Peter, 52, broke his long silence on Thursday, declaring: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones. That ends today.” He alleged that for their safety, Junior, now 20, and Princess came to live with him in 2018, with a court order in 2019 enforcing the arrangement. He also cited court rulings in 2011 and 2015 that found Katie had made false claims, resulting in her paying damages, legal costs, and issuing public apologies.

Katie’s camp swiftly hit back. Her spokesperson told Daily Mail: “Kate is in a much clearer headspace and at peace with the situation. She will no longer be gaslighted or bullied as she once was. This matter is now in her lawyers’ hands.”

Speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast, the 47-year-old insisted she has no interest in raising her profile by appearing on Princess’ show, but simply wants to support her daughter at events like photoshoots and signings — just as her own family once supported her. She blasted “certain people” who, she claimed, don’t want Princess to be seen with her.

Tensions were further inflamed when Katie accused Peter’s management team, The Can Group — who also produce Princess’ series — of keeping her out of the project. She has a long, bitter history with the agency and its founder Claire, whom she once accused of contributing to her marriage breakdown in 2009. Those allegations led to a court case she lost, forcing her to apologise to both Peter and Claire.

Once the golden couple of British reality TV, Katie and Peter’s 2009 split has since spiralled into one of the UK’s most enduring celebrity feuds — now reignited, with lawyers once again set to be involved.
