Maeva D’Ascanio and James Taylor are expecting their second child—just three weeks after emotional scenes aired showing their marriage on the brink.
The Made in Chelsea stars, who already share two-year-old Beau, surprised fans by posting a joyful pregnancy reveal on Instagram. Maeva, 32, held up scan photos while James, 30, tenderly cradled her baby bump in their bedroom. Little Beau even kissed his mum’s belly in one of the clips.
What stunned viewers even more was the timing. On the May 5 episode of the E4 show, Maeva had broken down in tears during a double date, asking, “We just can’t stand each other anymore, huh?” The couple confessed to communication struggles and admitted their relationship was at an all-time low.
James had said they were “drifting apart,” and Maeva hinted at leaving. It was, as James described, “the lowest we’ve ever been.”
But now, everything seems to have turned around.
In a more recent episode, James revealed that during a trip to Italy, Maeva told him she’d “fallen back in love” with him. And now, their new chapter begins—with a baby girl on the way.
