Jess Wright has shared a terrifying experience involving her two-year-old son Presley, who was rushed to hospital after falling severely ill. The former TOWIE star opened up on Instagram, revealing that Presley became “limp and lifeless,” prompting a frantic emergency response.

Initially, Presley showed signs of illness with a refusal to eat or drink, spending a restless night beside Jess and her husband William. His condition worsened as he developed a severe cough and high temperature. Jess’s motherly instinct led her to take him to A&E on Friday, but he was sent home after appearing stable with no unusual lung sounds.
However, Jess soon realised something still wasn’t right. “He had gone 48 hours with no food, no colour in his face. I just knew,” she wrote. Calling her husband and mum in panic, Jess phoned 999 — and within minutes, an ambulance arrived. During the emergency call, she was even instructed to look for a defibrillator.

Presley’s oxygen levels dropped again once in hospital, and the family endured four terrifying hours before finally seeing a doctor. The diagnosis: a crackling sound at the base of his right lung, suggesting a serious chest or lung infection.
Thankfully, after starting antibiotics, Presley’s condition improved — and Jess was overjoyed to see his cheeky personality return. “He’s laughing again,” she wrote, along with a message urging parents to always trust their gut instincts.
Celebrities and fans quickly responded with love. Megan McKenna wrote: “So glad he’s okay — your gut is always right.” Jess’s sister Natalya and fellow TOWIE star Gemma Collins also sent support.
