Jeff Brazier has reportedly been left stunned after discovering that his sons, Bobby and Freddy Brazier, intend to continue their planned reality television project without him — a decision said to have deepened the already fragile tensions within the family.
The 46-year-old This Morning presenter had originally been involved in discussions for the fly-on-the-wall documentary series, which was expected to follow the Brazier family’s complicated personal life in a format similar to the iconic reality show The Osbournes. However, Jeff is said to have withdrawn from the project earlier this year after another fallout with his sons.

Despite his exit, Bobby and Freddy have reportedly decided to press on with the series — a move that insiders claim has left their father feeling blindsided.
A source told The Sun that Jeff had not expected the show to continue without him and was struggling to make sense of the decision. The insider explained that Jeff was “pretty blindsided when he found out” and that he found it difficult to understand why the boys would want to move forward without him.
The situation has reportedly been made more difficult by the perception that Bobby and Freddy have become bigger public figures in their own right. According to the insider, “The thing he doesn’t get is that the boys are actually bigger stars than him now; it’s a hard pill to swallow. They have a lot going on, and it would make great TV.”
The source added that Jeff’s recent career setbacks have made the situation even more painful. They said his career “has taken a hit recently, and this is just the latest blow,” adding that he was “pretty fuming about it all,” though he is keen to avoid triggering yet another family fallout. With tensions already high, the insider said the family are effectively “all walking on eggshells.”

The planned series was first revealed last year, when it emerged that Jeff had been in talks with ITV about filming a documentary centred on his life with sons Bobby, 22, and Freddy, 20. The show was expected to explore their complicated family dynamics, particularly as the trio navigated several personal upheavals.
Among those challenges was Jeff’s separation from his wife Kate Dwyer. In December, the TV presenter publicly confirmed that their seven-year marriage had come to an end.
Sharing the news with fans on Instagram, Jeff reflected on their relationship and expressed gratitude for the years they had spent together. He wrote that he was “so full of love and gratitude for Kate” and proud of “all we achieved, for how much we grew, for everything we endured.”
Jeff revealed that the couple had actually separated during the summer but had chosen to keep the news private for some time to allow both of them space to adjust. He explained that for more than a decade they had been each other’s safe space and strongest supporters through what he described as busy, painful and complex chapters in their lives.
The family tensions have also been complicated by Jeff’s long-running conflict with the mother of his late partner Jade Goody, Jackiey Budden. In recent years, Jeff has openly expressed concern that Jackiey has been a negative influence on his youngest son Freddy.
At one stage, he even attempted to pursue legal action in an effort to limit Freddy’s contact with his grandmother. Jeff blamed Jackiey for what he believed was Freddy “going off the rails,” but the attempt ultimately failed after Freddy sided with Jackiey. Jeff later dropped the legal case.

Meanwhile, Freddy has also been dealing with upheaval in his own personal life after reportedly splitting from his pregnant girlfriend, Holly Swinburn, who is believed to be expecting their baby within the next three months.
With the family navigating multiple emotional pressures — from relationship breakdowns to ongoing disputes — insiders suggest the reality show could have offered a raw and revealing look at the Brazier household.
Instead, the project may now unfold without Jeff at its centre — leaving the presenter grappling with a painful reality as his sons step further into the spotlight on their own.
