Just days before tying the knot with model Roxy Horner, comedian Jack Whitehall has already sparked wedding drama — and this time, it’s his own mother caught in the chaos.
His mother, Hilary Whitehall, has admitted she was left completely “despairing” after her son gave her the wrong dress code for the big day — a blunder that forced her into a last-minute fashion crisis.

Hilary revealed the awkward mix-up unfolded weeks ago when she tried to prepare for the wedding. She explained that when she asked Jack about the dress code, he confidently gave her the wrong information. Only later, when the official invitation arrived, did she realise everything had changed. Jack could only respond with a sheepish apology, telling her, “Sorry about that, Mumsy.”
With the ceremony just around the corner, the blunder has added an unexpected layer of stress to what should be a joyful build-up.

Meanwhile, the bride and groom appeared far more relaxed as they were spotted sharing a kiss before jumping into a taxi ahead of their wedding weekend. Roxy, already embracing bridal vibes, kept it casual in a white T-shirt and jeans, while Jack looked a mix of nervous excitement as he loaded luggage — and even their daughter Elsie’s pram — into the car.
The couple, who have been together since 2020 and share a two-year-old daughter, are finally set to say “I do” two years after getting engaged.
But behind the scenes, it’s been anything but quiet.
Roxy recently celebrated her hen party in true lavish style, enjoying a wild London weekend packed with karaoke, private dining, and even a surprise lap dance from a Magic Mike performer — a moment that left her visibly stunned but laughing along with friends.
Hilary herself joined the celebrations, fully embracing the festivities in a sparkling pink outfit as she bonded with Roxy’s family.

On the other side, Jack’s stag do was equally chaotic — though he insists it was “relatively sensible.” He admitted to starting the day with Guinness at 11am, later confessing his memory of the night was “patchy.” Luckily, he joked, the next day’s media coverage helped him piece together exactly what happened.
He recalled that while the night may have seemed tame to him, there were still plenty of questionable moments — including wearing an inflatable crown and partying across Soho with celebrity pals like James Corden and Jamie Redknapp.
From dress code disasters to wild pre-wedding parties, one thing is clear — this wedding has already delivered more drama than most.
And it hasn’t even started yet.
