Ulrika Jonsson has opened up about the cosmetic procedures she underwent after surprising fans with her noticeably fresher and more youthful complexion.
The TV presenter, now 58, recently shared that she had begun tackling the effects of what she described as “years of sun damage.” After posting photos showing a dramatically refreshed appearance, she has now revealed the full details behind the transformation.

In a video shared with fans on Friday, Ulrika documented her visit to London’s Define Clinic, where she met with specialists to design a personalised treatment plan tailored to her skin.
Reflecting on her previous appearance, Ulrika admitted candidly that she felt the years had taken their toll. She said she believed she had “aged badly and really hard actually,” adding that society often expects women to fade quietly into older age — something she refused to accept.
While footage showed her undergoing several cosmetic procedures, Ulrika explained how excited she felt about taking steps to improve her skin. She said she hadn’t felt this excited about anything in years.

Importantly, the star insisted the process wasn’t about trying to look decades younger. Instead, she said her goal was simply to look the best she could for her age.
Her treatment plan began with biostimulators — non-surgical procedures designed to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production and help rejuvenate the skin from within.
She then received Evolus dermal fillers, hyaluronic acid-based injections commonly used to smooth moderate to severe wrinkles and facial folds.

The procedures continued with Erbium laser resurfacing combined with Jalupro injectable skin boosters, designed to improve skin texture and hydration.
In a later appointment, Ulrika underwent BBL x MOXI laser treatment, a procedure that targets pigmentation by exposing the skin to controlled bursts of light energy.
According to the clinic, this was followed by Polynucleotides — injections containing DNA fragments derived from trout or salmon sperm, believed to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin.
The extensive programme concluded with HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound), a non-invasive treatment that uses ultrasound energy to heat deep layers beneath the skin’s surface, tightening and lifting the face, neck and brow area.
After completing the series of procedures, Ulrika said she was thrilled with the results.
She shared that when she now looks in the mirror, she sees “new skin, fresh skin,” adding that she has received numerous compliments on her appearance.

Revealing her transformation to followers last week, Ulrika explained that until recently she had largely given up on trying to improve her skin. She said she had accepted the consequences of long-term sun exposure because she hadn’t realised there were effective treatments available.
However, after beginning the treatment programme, she said the experience helped her rebuild confidence in her appearance.
For Ulrika, the process was never about reversing time entirely. Instead, she described it as the beginning of a healthier relationship with ageing — one based on reassurance and realistic expectations.
She also made clear that she has no desire to erase every sign of ageing. Ulrika said she is perfectly happy to keep her laughter lines and wrinkles, calling them the marks of a life fully lived.
She added that ageing is natural and should be seen as a privilege, emphasising that every individual should have the freedom to choose how they approach it.
The cosmetic procedures are not the only recent changes in Ulrika’s life. Just last month, she revealed she had been recovering from a treatment to remove varicose veins.
Meanwhile, the presenter also recently gave fans a glimpse inside her newly redesigned home. Sharing photos on Instagram, she proudly unveiled her revamped television room, which now features a bold orange sofa, fringed cushions and a striking chandelier.
Ulrika explained that the space had once been a simple TV room where her youngest son spent time gaming. But after deciding to remain in her home long-term, she wanted to transform it into something far more special.
