“I might have body dysmorphia.” TOWIE star Bobby Norris has made an emotional confession after undergoing a facelift at just 39, revealing years of filler addiction left his face damaged beyond repair

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Bobby Norris has made a heartbreaking confession about his appearance struggles after undergoing a facelift before turning 40.

The reality star, 39, revealed he believes he “might have body dysmorphia” after years of cosmetic procedures and filler “abuse” left his skin badly stretched and sagging. Bobby admitted he became addicted to fillers, regularly getting top-ups every 12 weeks, before eventually deciding surgery was his only option.

Speaking 12 weeks after the operation, Bobby explained that removing the fillers exposed the damage done to his face over the past decade. He said he had reached the “point of no return” because his skin would “never snap back.”

Bobby candidly admitted: “I know people are shocked that I had a facelift before I even turned 40, but I think it’s becoming more normal.”

He continued: “I’d abused fillers in my cheeks and around my eyes so badly and I’d stretched my skin so much it would never snap back. I had an addiction to filler and I think I might have body dysmorphia.”

The TV star also revealed that cruel comments from online trolls only made his insecurities worse. According to Bobby, anonymous social media users mocked his appearance and compared him to “a hamster,” which pushed him even further towards surgery.

Despite trying other treatments, Bobby said nothing could reverse the damage. He admitted he could have “facials forever and slap on as much Oil of Olay” as he wanted, but his face would never recover naturally.

Earlier this year, Bobby also spoke openly about his cosmetic procedures, revealing he had eyelid surgery, buccal fat removal and liposuction under his chin. He insisted he has always tried to be transparent about the work he has had done.

But the most shocking revelation came when Bobby opened up about a terrifying health scare that changed his outlook on life completely.

Appearing on This Morning with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, Bobby recalled a doctor warning him during a series of medical tests that he “could be dead in 12 hours” if a suspected condition turned out to be true.

Reflecting on the frightening moment, Bobby admitted the experience made him rethink waiting until his 40s to have surgery. He said: “At my age, you don’t expect to hear that. And then I kind of thought, ‘Well, why am I waiting for my 40s to correct something?’”

In a darkly humorous moment, Bobby confessed his first thought after hearing the warning was: “Well, I can’t die. I’m going to Sheesh tonight!”

The reality star said the health scare became a major wake-up call and pushed him to “seize the day” rather than continue putting things off.
