TV presenter Helen Skelton is reportedly finding new joy in life thanks to her growing connection with co-host Gethin Jones. According to close sources, the Welsh broadcaster “ticks all the boxes” for Helen, who has been through a difficult few years following her divorce.
Rumours of a budding romance between the Morning Live co-presenters began circulating earlier this year. Fans noticed the pair’s undeniable chemistry both on-screen and at various off-screen events, including the TV BAFTAs and a recent charity gala.
One insider revealed: “Helen and Gethin are definitely getting close. They’ve spent more time together recently and really enjoy each other’s company. Gethin has been there for her during some of her darkest moments.”
Their closeness was first highlighted during a 24-hour roller-skating challenge for Comic Relief in March, where Gethin praised Helen’s humour and resilience. He affectionately called her his “famous ferret” in an Instagram post, and fans were quick to comment on their bond.
Since her split from husband Richie Myler in April 2022 — just four months after the birth of their third child — Helen has focused on raising their three kids in Cumbria and rebuilding her life.
