Gregg Wallace has shared an emotional update about his seven-year-old son Sid, revealing that the youngster is autistic, non-verbal and still wears nappies.
The former BBC presenter, 61, posted a touching photo of his wife Anne-Marie with Sid at home, as he spoke candidly about the daily reality facing parents of neurodivergent children.
“This is our little Sid. He has just turned seven he is non-verbal and still in nappies,” Gregg wrote. “Expert help and advice is not easy to find as any parent of a neurodivergent child will tell you. That is why we set up Altogether ND.”

The organisation was created as a support network for parents of neurodiverse children, offering advice, community and resources at a time when many families feel left to struggle alone.
Gregg later shared a sweet video of Sid happily playing outside in a field, captioning it simply: “Happy Sid.”
The family update comes after a turbulent period for Gregg, who was dropped from MasterChef following a BBC investigation into concerns raised about his conduct on the show.

He and Anne-Marie have since sold their £1million home in Kent and are planning a new chapter abroad, spending part of the year in Italy while homeschooling Sid.
Gregg recently explained: “My wife is Italian. I’ve always loved Italy and we plan to move around and rent in different places which is quite an adventure and with the help of my autism specialist mates, I am going to homeschool Sid as well.”
