Gordon Ramsay Finally Speaks Out on Victoria Beckham’s Storm-Sparking Dance: “I Saw Nothing Inappropriate — There Was Nothing Salacious About It”

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has finally spoken out about the wedding moment that has fuelled one of showbiz’s most awkward family feuds — and he insists there was “nothing inappropriate” about Victoria Beckham’s dance with her son.

The drama dates back to 2022, when Brooklyn Beckham married actress Nicola Peltz in a lavish ceremony. Earlier this year, Brooklyn stunned fans by claiming his mum had “hijacked” his first dance and “danced very inappropriately on me.”

But according to Ramsay, who attended the wedding as a close family friend, the online frenzy has been blown wildly out of proportion.

“We were there at the wedding,” he told The Sun. “There was nothing salacious. There was nothing inappropriate. Everyone was having fun, having a dance.”

Addressing viral memes suggesting Victoria had “grinded” on her son, Gordon shut it down instantly: “No! Nothing of the sort. It was fun.”

He also revealed he hadn’t even seen the memes — but added that the former Spice Girl has a “great sense of humour” and would be “right to be upset” about the situation, though she “can bat that other s*** away in a heartbeat.”

🎤 The DJ’s Version: “It Was the Timing”

The wedding’s DJ, Fat Tony, has also defended Victoria — but admitted the awkwardness came down to timing, not dance moves.

Speaking on This Morning, he explained: “There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girls actions. The word inappropriate — why I said it was inappropriate as well, because it was the timing.”

He detailed how singer Marc Anthony had invited Brooklyn onto the stage, leading everyone to assume Nicola would join him for their first dance. Instead, Marc called for “the most beautiful woman in the room” — and then said: “Victoria, come to the stage.”

“At that point, Brooklyn is devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife,” Fat Tony revealed.

💔 Feud, Loyalty and a Warning About Infatuation

Ramsay also confirmed he’s still in touch with Brooklyn, saying they’ve “messaged a little bit” and that their “relationship is solid.”

“I love Brooklyn,” he said, adding that his “heart is incredible.” But he offered a telling warning: it’s hard “when you’re infatuated,” and it’s easy to “get carried away.”

Despite Brooklyn’s insistence he doesn’t want reconciliation, Gordon predicted that he “will come back” eventually, praising David Beckham and Victoria as “incredible” parents. In his words, it’s only “a matter of time” before Brooklyn “understands what his parents mean to him.”

With both the Beckhams and the Ramsays facing family tensions of their own, one thing seems certain — the wedding dance drama isn’t quite done yet.
