Kylie Minogue looked every inch the global pop icon as she shared a warm greeting with Prince William at the Earthshot Prize Awards in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday night.
At 57, the Australian superstar dazzled in a beige tulle mini dress decorated with delicate circular leather cut-outs — a look that shimmered under the stage lights as she smiled and posed for cameras. She paired the glamorous outfit with gold heels, keeping her accessories minimal to let her radiant energy shine through.

The pop legend was among the star-studded guest list at the prestigious environmental awards founded by Prince William in 2020 to champion innovative ideas combating climate change.
Before taking to the stage to perform alongside fellow musician Shawn Mendes, Kylie shared her excitement about being part of such an important event, saying it was “a privilege and an honour to be part of The Earthshot Prize in Rio – on stage with the people and the ideas that could save our planet.”

Other performers included Brazilian icon Gilberto Gil, rising country star Anitta, and Seu Jorge, while Formula One legend Sebastian Vettel and football star Cafu joined the roster of presenters.
This year’s ceremony marks the halfway point of the Earthshot decade, with £1 million prizes being awarded to five groundbreaking environmental innovators.

Kylie’s appearance also follows her triumphant Tension Tour performance in São Paulo earlier this year — her first Brazilian show in 17 years — cementing her as both a pop and style powerhouse.

It was a touching reunion between Kylie and Prince William, who first met in 2018 at a Royal Marsden cancer charity event, where Kylie supported the hospital after overcoming breast cancer herself.
