‘FROM “SOULMATES” TO SPLIT’: Jake Quickenden And Wife Sophie Church ‘End Their Marriage’ After Four Years Together — Despite Their Emotional Wedding Vows And Having Two Children Together

Former Jake Quickenden has reportedly split from his wife Sophie Church after four years of marriage — despite once calling her his “soulmate” in emotional wedding vows.

According to reports, the 37-year-old TV star and Sophie have quietly told close friends and family that their relationship is over. The couple, who married in Ibiza in 2022 after several years together, share two young sons — Leo, five, and Kit, 15 months.

Sources insist the separation has been “incredibly amicable,” with both Jake and Sophie determined to remain focused on co-parenting and protecting their family unit.

An insider claimed there is still “a huge amount of love and respect” between the pair, explaining that their relationship simply changed over time after many honest conversations behind closed doors.

The source said their children remain their “main priority” and that both are fully committed to being the “best parents possible,” even though they are no longer together romantically.

The reported split has shocked fans, especially after Jake previously spoke so lovingly about Sophie following their Ibiza wedding ceremony.

At the time, Jake emotionally recalled seeing Sophie walk down the aisle and admitted: “I thought it was an angel walking down the aisle.”

The couple had written their own vows, with Jake mixing humour and heartfelt emotion during the ceremony. He joked that he would stop leaving empty wrappers in cupboards and would still love Sophie “when she makes a noise when she eats like a squirrel.”

But it was his final line that fans remembered most, as he declared: “I think there’s only one true love and you’re my soulmate.”

In recent years, Jake had also openly discussed the pressures of balancing his career with family life, admitting it was difficult being away from his children while working.

He previously explained that FaceTime helped him stay connected to his sons when travelling for work, adding that he hoped his dedication would inspire them as they grew older.

Jake said he wanted to be a “decent role model” for his children and teach them that “nothing comes easy” in life.

The singer and TV personality also admitted he had struggled with “imposter syndrome” while transitioning into acting, saying he sometimes felt intimidated by professionally trained actors around him.

Neither Jake nor Sophie has publicly commented on the reports so far.
