First Photo of Jesy Nelson’s Twins Leaves Fans in Tears – The Heartbreaking NICU Journey: ‘Wires Everywhere, and I Couldn’t Hold Them’

Jesy Nelson has shared an emotional update with fans after giving birth to her premature twin daughters, Ocean and Story, earlier this month. Born nearly nine weeks early on May 15, the girls remain in neonatal intensive care, but Jesy says they are getting stronger every day.

The former Little Mix star posted a touching photo of herself cradling both babies on her chest, with her partner Zion Foster by her side, smiling with pride.

Opening up about the heartbreak of the past ten days, Jesy described the NICU experience as “the most overwhelming and frightening” time of her life. “Nothing can prepare you for this,” she wrote. “As a mother, all you want to do is hold and comfort your babies, but you can’t – not with all the wires, tubes, and machines surrounding them.”

She admitted that watching her newborns endure medical procedures while being unable to soothe them has “broken [her] heart into a million pieces.”

But amid the fear and emotional exhaustion, Jesy found light in a milestone moment. For the first time since their birth, the twins were placed together — reunited skin to skin. “It felt like a dream,” she wrote. “The most magical feeling I’ll never be able to describe.”

Though they still face challenges, Jesy shared hope with her fans, writing: “They are slowly getting stronger, and each day brings us closer to bringing them home.”

In a final tribute, she called Ocean and Story “the strongest little girls I’ve ever known” — already showing the kind of resilience that makes their story unforgettable.
