Emergency Hospitalised: Nathan Moore Unable to Walk After Rushed to Hospital and Admits He ‘Feels Like He’s 85’

Former Brother Beyond and Worlds Apart star Nathan Moore, 61, has revealed he is currently unable to walk after being rushed to hospital in France with what he describes as an “extreme” sciatic nerve issue.

The singer required urgent medical treatment following a live show in Martigues while touring with Worlds Apart and has since returned home to the UK to recover. The health scare has left him bedridden just three days before he is due back on stage, with more than 20 shows still scheduled on the European tour.

Speaking candidly, Moore admitted the sudden setback has been emotionally devastating. He explained that he woke up unable to walk at all, saying that for someone who is usually energetic and highly active on stage, the situation has been deeply upsetting. Although normally “super positive” and athletic at 61, he said he now feels decades older after spending the night in a French hospital. With the tour meant to resume imminently, Moore confessed he is struggling to know what will happen next.

In an Instagram post shared over the weekend, Moore apologised to fans after being forced to perform seated during the Martigues show. He explained that he had been hospitalised straight after the concert and thanked the local medical team for their kindness. While he had hoped to recover in time for upcoming dates, he admitted he could no longer dance and asked fans for their understanding.

After being discharged, Moore described his journey home as “interesting” and thanked supporters again, admitting he is still in pain and uncertain about whether he can continue performing in the coming weeks.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with messages of support, reassuring him that simply seeing and hearing him sing was more than enough and urging him to rest and focus on recovery.

Moore first rose to fame in the late 1980s as a member of Brother Beyond, who scored a string of hits after releasing their debut album Get Even in 1988. In a bold move, the band famously bid at a charity auction for the help of legendary producer trio Stock Aitken Waterman, known for launching stars such as Kylie Minogue and Rick Astley. The gamble paid off, with their album peaking at number nine on the UK charts.

However, after parting ways with the hitmaking producers, the band’s popularity waned and Brother Beyond quietly split in 1991. Moore later joined Worlds Apart, who found moderate success in the UK but became huge stars in France, topping the charts with their second album Everybody and continuing to tour the country decades later.
