Coleen Nolan was left visibly devastated after suffering one of the most awkward and emotional moments of the new Celebs Go Dating series — when none of her dates chose to see her again.
The 61-year-old Loose Women star, who signed up for the E4 dating show hoping to prove that women later in life can still find love, struggled to hide her heartbreak as she stood in front of the cast waiting to hear whether her Tenerife dates wanted to continue seeing her back in the UK.
But after what viewers described as a painfully long silence, neither man stood up.

Coleen looked completely crushed as the reality of the rejection sank in, especially after she had previously opened up to her co-stars about the strong connection she believed she shared with one date in particular — Steve.
The TV personality had spoken enthusiastically about their chemistry and admitted she thought there was a genuine spark between them. However, Steve delivered a brutally honest explanation that left Coleen visibly emotional.
He said: “Me and Coleen from the start was an absolute hit from the start emotionally but the only thing for me was the sexual chemistry just wasn’t there.”

The moment became even more uncomfortable when Married At First Sight Australia favourite Lucinda Light could be heard whispering to James Haskell: “That’s embarrassing.”
In a tearful confessional afterwards, Coleen admitted the rejection left her feeling completely humiliated.
She confessed it was “mortifying” and said she wanted “the ground to swallow her up.”
Despite looking close to tears, Coleen refused to completely fall apart in front of the group and tried to stay composed while listening to Steve explain why he didn’t want to pursue a relationship.
When dating experts asked how she felt, she candidly admitted: “I thought me and Steve got on like so well.”
Steve then attempted to soften the blow by telling her: “I hope that after this that we can still be friends; I would love to see you again.”
But Coleen immediately hit back with a cutting response that stunned viewers.
“I didn’t come on here to find a friend,” she replied.
“I’ve got lots of male friends that I get on great with.”

Fans watching at home were left heartbroken for the TV star, with many praising her honesty and bravery for putting herself back out there publicly after previous heartbreaks.
Coleen’s last serious relationship was with her ex-husband Ray Fensome, whom she split from after 11 years together.
Before becoming one of Britain’s most recognisable daytime TV stars on Loose Women, Coleen first rose to fame alongside her sisters in legendary Irish girl group The Nolans.
