Brooklyn Beckham appears to have revealed why his younger sister Harper was unable to see him after she arrived at his Los Angeles home in an apparent bid to reconnect amid the ongoing Beckham family feud.
The 14-year-old made the trip shortly after Sir David Beckham was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham living only a short distance away. But despite Harper’s surprise visit, she was seen leaving without going inside after no one answered the door.
Photos showed Harper arriving alone at the property, still dressed in the pink silk outfit she had worn to her father’s prestigious ceremony. According to reports, she had turned up unexpectedly and was the only member of the family to make the effort.

Hours later, Brooklyn seemed to explain his absence. The 27-year-old reposted footage to his Instagram Stories showing him out for a run in New York, placing him thousands of miles away from his California home at the time of Harper’s visit.
The latest development comes against the backdrop of the Beckham family’s increasingly bitter rift. Brooklyn has reportedly become estranged from his parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham, as well as brothers Romeo and Cruz, all of whom he is said to have blocked on social media.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn hit back at claims that he was being controlled by wife Nicola and insisted he had no interest in repairing relations with his family.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he said.

Reports have also claimed that communication between Brooklyn and his parents has become so strained that legal representatives have been used as intermediaries.
Following Harper’s failed visit, a spokesperson for Brooklyn told Page Six: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.”
Despite the tensions, sources claim Brooklyn’s relationship with his youngest sibling is very different from his fractured ties with the rest of the family. Insiders say he has tried to shield Harper from the fallout, although maintaining regular contact has become increasingly difficult because she still lives with their parents.

The awkward encounter came on the same day Brooklyn skipped David Beckham’s Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrations. Ahead of the ceremony, David shut down questions about the family drama, telling Variety: “To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.”
As the divide within one of Britain’s most famous families continues to deepen, Harper’s emotional attempt to reach out has only highlighted how painful the situation has become.
