Brooklyn Beckham showed a softer, domestic side this week as he cooked a generous home-made spread for wife Nicola Peltz and her best friend—just hours after her billionaire father Nelson Peltz publicly praised him and voiced support for their marriage.
The aspiring chef, 26, shared a snap to Instagram Stories on Tuesday night showing the couple’s kitchen island lined with neatly packed tupperware boxes. The feast included noodles, burgers, tofu and a leafy green salad—simple but carefully prepared. Alongside the photo, Brooklyn wrote that he had set everything up for “the Mrs and her best mate,” punctuated with a kiss emoji.

The timing was striking. Earlier that day, Nelson Peltz had broken his silence on the increasingly bitter rift between the Beckhams and their eldest son while speaking during a Q&A session at WSJD’s Invest Live event in West Palm Beach.
While steering clear of specifics, Nelson made his position clear. He told the audience that his daughter and the Beckhams were “a whole other story” not meant for coverage, but added pointedly that his daughter was great, his son-in-law Brooklyn was great, and that he looked forward to them having a long and happy marriage together.

Asked whether he had offered the couple advice on navigating such a difficult situation, the billionaire investor replied that he did—and revealed that sometimes, the advice flowed the other way, too.
The show of public support comes against the backdrop of Brooklyn’s explosive statement last month, in which he declared he did not want to reconcile with his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, accusing them of trying to sabotage his relationship with Nicola and of prioritising “Brand Beckham” over family bonds.
Brooklyn also claimed that since stepping away from his family, the crippling anxiety he had battled for most of his life had finally lifted, saying he had found peace and relief with Nicola by his side.

Despite the storm, David and Victoria have remained publicly silent, instead presenting a united front with their younger children at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris last week.
Yet as tensions continue to simmer behind the scenes, Brooklyn’s quiet act of devotion in the kitchen—paired with Nelson Peltz’s carefully worded endorsement—painted a very different picture: one of a young couple closing ranks, focused on their own version of happiness, far from the glare of the Beckham brand machine.
