The drama surrounding the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! live final didn’t end when the cameras cut — in fact, according to an audience member, that’s when things got even more explosive.
While viewers watched tensions boil over on screen — with Jimmy Bullard accusing winner Adam Thomas of being “abusive, aggressive and intimidating,” and David Haye launching into a furious rant — what unfolded during the ad breaks was, allegedly, even more intense.

A fan who attended the final claimed that after initially heckling Adam, David attempted to make peace off-camera. She said he approached the finalists during a break, trying to greet them — but Adam refused outright, reportedly shutting him down with a blunt “No, I’m not having this.”
What followed was described as something straight out of a talk-show meltdown, with the audience member comparing it to “Jerry Springer.” Emotions spiralled backstage and during breaks, with Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt both reportedly breaking down in tears.
According to the same account, tensions escalated as Jimmy discussed contract details and his controversial decision to quit — while David continued interrupting, prompting loud boos from the audience.

The situation became so heated that Sinitta stormed off stage, telling the crowd they “weren’t there” and insisting the situation had been “really aggressive and intimidating.” Moments later, Gemma Collins followed her exit in fury, as the atmosphere descended into what the fan described as “carnage.”
There were also claims that something significant happened behind the scenes during one of the breaks — with contestants returning to the stage looking visibly shaken and “very heated.”
Despite being crowned King of the Jungle, Adam reportedly appeared far from celebratory. The audience member said he looked like a “broken man,” eager to leave the stage as quickly as possible after the show ended.
Behind the scenes, it’s said that host Declan Donnelly stepped in to comfort a tearful Scarlett, who — along with Ashley — reportedly described the entire situation as “disgusting.”
And the chaos didn’t stop there.

In footage that allegedly never made it to air, Adam is said to have ripped off his crown and thrown it to the ground after being goaded by David, who reportedly told him he was “not a worthy winner.” Adam’s response? A stark accusation: “This is bullying.”
Elsewhere, Gemma — a close ally of Adam — is said to have lashed out at David, branding him “a nasty b*d” and calling both him and Jimmy “an embarrassment to reality TV.”
Adding another layer to the fallout, Adam’s wife Caroline later posted a cryptic Instagram message, hinting at the emotional toll of the night. She described it as “one hell of a night,” despite trying to focus on moving forward with positivity.
On-screen, Adam publicly took responsibility for his behaviour during the earlier clash, admitting emotions had run high and insisting he had apologised multiple times. But even that moment didn’t pass quietly — with David interrupting mid-speech, forcing hosts Ant and Dec to step in and shut him down.
David, however, stood firm, claiming the show had been heavily edited to paint Adam as a victim. He insisted there had been “banter back and forth” that viewers never saw, adding that it was “time for the truth.”
If the audience account is anything to go by, the truth behind that final may be even messier than anyone realised.
