Abbey Clancy has jokingly admitted she sometimes questions why she’s with her husband Peter Crouch – after the former footballer made what she described as an “offensive” move in bed.
In the latest episode of their hit podcast The Therapy Crouch, the model recalled how Peter told her to “get off” him during the night while clinging onto his orthopaedic pillow. Abbey, 39, laughed as she said: “You did have it last night because you told me to get off you. Do you remember saying that? In bed. Can you just move over? I hate it, it’s so offensive.”

Peter, 44, defended himself, blaming both Abbey and the family cat for pushing him to the edge of the mattress. “The cat is taking up so much room, then you’re coming towards me,” he explained. “I don’t mind you being next to me, it’s nice, but not when I’m right at the end, with my head basically on the side table.”
The couple, who married in 2011 and share four children, went back and forth in a playful debate about who hogs the bed. Abbey argued he should set boundaries: “Why don’t you just set how far you wanna go? I’ll come close to that. If you keep moving, it’s your own bloody fault.”

Their bed-sharing struggles aren’t new. Abbey also revealed that one night they ended up squeezed into a single bed after finding all their kids had taken over the master bed. “God, I don’t know why I’m with you,” Abbey joked at the end of the discussion, leaving Peter laughing.
Away from bedtime battles, Abbey also revealed her husband has a “new love” – tennis. Peter confessed he’s become obsessed with the sport after first taking their daughter Sophia for lessons. He now trains regularly, has joined a club, and is even entering competitions. “I just got the bug,” he admitted.
Abbey teased that on holidays she often wakes to find Peter has already disappeared to play tennis. She added, half amused and half exasperated: “It’s like he sneaks off every morning to be with his new love.”
