Jesy Nelson Shares Emotional Update from Hospital Bed After Surgery to Save Her Unborn Twins – and Asks Fans for Hair Colour Advice
Jesy Nelson has opened up from her hospital bed with an emotional health update after undergoing life-saving surgery for her unborn twins – and, in a heartfelt moment of levity, she’s asked fans to help her decide what colour to dye her hair once the babies arrive.

The 33-year-old former Little Mix star has been in hospital since late March after being diagnosed with Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS), a rare but serious condition that can jeopardize the lives of both babies. Jesy is currently seven months pregnant, with doctors hoping she can safely reach at least 32 weeks before giving birth.
Despite the emotional toll and prolonged hospital stay, Jesy has managed to keep her spirits up. On Saturday night, she posted a light-hearted TikTok from her hospital bed, laughing about her grey hairs and telling fans: “When I get out of hospital, the first thing I wanna do is dye my barnet! Zion wants me to go browny-blonde, but I’m not sure. I need your advice – what colour suits me best?”
Fans flooded the comments, some urging her to keep her signature auburn, while others championed a bold new blonde.
The singer also revealed she’s still keeping up with her beauty routines during her stay – recently getting a fresh set of lashes done right in her hospital room. “I’ve never had brown lashes before, but I’m obsessed,” she wrote, sharing a glowing selfie with her new look.
Her boyfriend Zion Foster, 26, has remained by her side throughout the ordeal. He told OK! Magazine that the experience has been tough – “the same four walls are driving us a bit crazy” – but it’s also brought them closer. “We’ve grown to understand each other on a whole new level. This has shown me that we really are meant to be.”
Despite the uncertainty, Jesy remains optimistic and connected to her fans, leaning on their support as she continues to fight for her babies.
