GMB star Narinder Kaur openly criticised William and Kate as “lazy” and “entitled” for missing the VJ Day ceremony

Good Morning Britain personality Narinder Kaur has ignited outrage after taking aim at Prince William and Princess Kate, accusing the couple of shirking royal duty.

The row began after reports revealed that William and Kate are preparing to move into Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom property in Windsor Great Park, which they consider their “forever home.” The pair, along with children George, Charlotte and Louis, are said to be funding the renovations themselves and plan to live without live-in staff in order to maintain privacy.

Despite this, Narinder blasted the move online, writing: “Five or six taxpayer-funded homes now for William and Kate? And yet, they couldn’t be bothered to show up today for those who lost their lives for their titles?” She further fumed: “Senior royals can’t pick and choose when duty is convenient. Skipping VJ Day while the rest of the royals show up? Lazy and entitled. They are not Instagram influencers. Meanwhile, Harry, stripped of his HRH, still works tirelessly for veterans. Maybe the wrong couple left the Royal Family.”

Her words triggered a storm of criticism from royal supporters. One replied: “I believe they are paying for this themselves. Not every royal attends every ceremony. Get over it.” Another raged: “You nasty, vindictive female. The woman is in remission from cancer. What do you do for the country?”

Others hit out at Narinder’s repeated attacks on the Prince and Princess of Wales, with one saying: “You’re becoming boring with your continuous digs at William and Kate. Have a day off!” Yet some sided with her, questioning: “How many ‘forever’ homes do they really need? And how much taxpayer money goes into their upkeep?”

According to The Sun, work on the Grade II-listed lodge has already begun, with hopes the Wales family will move in by Christmas.
