Katie Price has broken her silence with a powerful Instagram post after her ex-husband Peter Andre’s bombshell claims reignited their long-running feud.
The 47-year-old former glamour model, who shares two children – Junior, 20, and Princess, 18 – with Peter, admitted to past struggles but insisted she is fighting to be a better person.

In a lengthy statement, Katie reflected: “I know I will always be seen as a Sinner. That’s fair, I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times, I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. I’ve self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.”
She revealed deeply personal trauma, saying she had been sexually abused as a child, endured coercive relationships and battled mental health issues. “I don’t want to make excuses. I’ve recognised my issues and worked to put them behind me. Sometimes I tried and failed, sometimes I succeeded. I pulled myself out of a suicidal spiral because I love my children and want to be there for them.”

Katie contrasted herself with what she called “Saints”: “Some are genuine and some have helped me. But some Saints are fake. They play the victim, and to succeed they need a villain… or at least a Sinner. Without the Sinner they don’t get to be the Saint. It must be exhausting pretending all the time.”
Her words came just 24 hours after Peter Andre, 52, accused her of “repeated lies” over the years, revealing for the first time that Princess and Junior came into his care in 2018 under a family court order. He insisted he had remained silent for 16 years out of respect for his children but vowed: “That ends today.”

Following the explosive exchange, a spokesperson for Katie said she is now in a “much better headspace,” adding: “Kate will no longer be gaslit and bullied as she once was. This is in her lawyers’ hands.”
Meanwhile, daughter Princess sought to cool the feud, telling fans on Snapchat that her parents’ arguments “don’t affect me,” since she was only two when they split. She added sweetly: “I love my mum and dad and that’s all that matters.”
