ITV presenter Lorraine Kelly has revealed that she’s currently in hospital and undergoing keyhole surgery after feeling unwell “for a little while.” The 65-year-old talk show host filmed a short video from her hospital bed to update fans on Instagram, explaining that she’s having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed as a precautionary measure.

Looking calm and upbeat, Lorraine smiled at the camera and said: “Just wanted to let you know I’m having a wee procedure today. I haven’t been feeling great for a while, so after some scans and tests, I need to get my ovaries and tubes taken out.”
Reassuring her followers, she added: “It’s purely preventative. It’s keyhole surgery, which is incredible. I’m being very well looked after, and I’ll be back soon – I’m totally fine.”
In her caption, Lorraine expressed gratitude: “Getting keyhole surgery – all preventative – feel very lucky to be treated so well – thank you Dr Raafat and all the staff!”
The TV star was quickly flooded with well-wishes from colleagues and fans alike. Fellow ITV star Katie Piper wrote: “Hope you make a speedy recovery,” while Dr Amir Khan added: “Wishing you a speedy recovery – you are the best!”
Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid commented: “Sending you all the love in the world,” and radio presenter Adele Roberts added: “Lots of love to you Lorraine! Get well soon.” More stars like Charlotte Hawkins, Vanessa Feltz, Julia Bradbury and Matt Baker also voiced their support.
Lorraine’s hospital stay comes just days after she supported Adele Roberts on her show with a surprise video message from Adele’s stoma nurse – a touching moment that left viewers emotional.
