Abbey Clancy has admitted she suspected husband Peter Crouch of cheating after noticing some strange behaviour – only to discover he’d been secretly visiting a new golf course.
Speaking on a recent episode of their Therapy Crouch podcast alongside Peter and her cousin Ross, the 38-year-old model jokingly shared her “whine of the week”. She said Peter had been “sneaking off” for two days, acting “all shifty”, to the point where she told him she thought he was “having an affair”. Worried enough to take action, Abbey even sent their youngest son, Jack, with him to see what he was up to.
When confronted, the 43-year-old former England striker finally revealed he’d been checking out a new golf course he was considering joining. He tried to win Abbey over by pointing out it had an equestrian centre – but she wasn’t buying it, quipping that he “must’ve thought I was born yesterday”.
Abbey also recalled telling friends about Peter’s possible new membership, only for them to burst into laughter – they already knew he’d signed up.
The couple, married since 2011, first met in 2005 when Peter walked into the Liverpool bar where Abbey was working. They share four children – Sophia Ruby (born 2011), Liberty Rose (2015), Johnny (2018) and Jack (2019) – and in recent years have joined forces professionally with their hit podcast, giving fans a glimpse into their family life.
