Princess Andre, 18, and her brother Junior, 20, opened up in their first joint solo TV interview on Friday, just two days before the launch of her unfiltered new ITV2 reality series, The Princess Diaries.
Appearing on This Morning with hosts Emma Willis and Joel Dommett, the siblings shared how they’ve learned to navigate fame thanks to their parents, Peter Andre and Katie Price. Princess explained, “If you’re putting yourself out there, you have to expect both negativity and positivity. We learnt from our parents how to deal with it. There are horrible people, but you just have to handle it.”

Junior agreed, noting that life in the public eye has its “pros and cons,” and that despite appearances, “We keep a lot private. People think they know more than they do. We’re normal and humble, no different from anyone else.”
The teenager, already a signed ambassador for brands like Morphe and Superdrug, teased that her reality show will give viewers a raw look at her daily life, her growing confidence, and her family. “A lot of people make assumptions from social media, but this will give them a proper insight,” she said.

Junior beamed with pride for his sister: “I’m a really proud big brother. She’s working hard and has a lot of great things going on. It’s a perfect time for her to have a show.”
However, the show’s release has been clouded by family tensions. Katie Price, who will not feature in the series, recently voiced her anger, claiming she was “banned” from participating by producers—a claim ITV2 has denied. On her podcast, Katie insisted her frustration wasn’t directed at Princess but at her management team, who also work with Peter Andre and whom she’s clashed with since their 2009 divorce.

In a candid clip from the series, Princess reflects on her turbulent childhood, admitting, “I do wish I could have had a happier childhood… I had so many things on my plate at a young age.” She revealed she sometimes still sees a counsellor but often writes her feelings down instead.

Despite the drama, fans have flooded social media with praise for the siblings, calling them “a credit to their parents” and remarking how much Princess resembles her famous mum.
The Princess Diaries premieres Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and will also be available on ITVX.
