Ozzy Osbourne has been laid to rest beside a peaceful lake on the grounds of his Buckinghamshire mansion, as family and rock royalty gathered for an emotional private farewell.

A striking floral tribute reading “Ozzy f***ing Osbourne” stood by the lakeside where the legendary Black Sabbath frontman was buried, fulfilling his wish to rest at home. The farewell was attended by 110 close friends and family, including his wife Sharon and children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, alongside rock icons Marilyn Manson, Zakk Wylde, Corey Taylor, James Hetfield, and Sir Elton John.

According to a family friend, Ozzy and Sharon’s home was transformed into a personal shrine with framed photos of the Prince of Darkness decorating the mansion. Guests were also given a special photo of Ozzy to take home. “Ozzy’s service was a beautiful tribute. As well as tears, there was laughter,” the source shared.

The invitation was simple — a black card with a cross reading: “In loving memory of Ozzy Osbourne.” Guests were ferried from local hotels to the estate, where tents and a stage had been set up for tributes. Yungblud, who had grown close to Ozzy in recent years, was among those paying respects on stage.
The farewell included deeply personal moments: Sharon Osbourne read tributes alongside daughter Kelly; she also wore Ozzy’s ring on a chain around her neck. The family laid purple flowers wrapped in black paper and were seen emotionally supporting each other during the farewell.

Meanwhile, in Birmingham — the city that shaped Ozzy’s life — fans gathered at Black Sabbath landmarks to honour him. In London, the Coldstream Guards performed Black Sabbath’s hit Paranoid outside Buckingham Palace in a powerful royal tribute.
A final floral arrangement spelling out “Ozzy” was placed by the lake’s fountain. As one guest said: “It was a very fitting goodbye.”
