Stephen Mulhern has transformed from a cheeky children’s TV magician into ITV’s biggest earner, now surpassing Bradley Walsh in weekly income and building an empire many didn’t see coming.
With an estimated net worth of £5 million and weekly earnings exceeding £80,000, Stephen’s rise has been anything but accidental. His company, Blue Eye Productions Limited, alone generated a staggering £4 million in the year leading up to February 2024, while another of his ventures, JFDI Productions Limited, amassed nearly £3 million in assets the previous year.

Much of his wealth stems from a prolific TV career that spans over two decades. After starting out on CITV’s Finger Tips (from which he was briefly suspended for revealing a magic trick), Stephen went on to host Tricky TV and co-front Saturday Showdown with Holly Willoughby. Their chemistry became a fan favourite and would later come full circle with Dancing On Ice, where Stephen returned to replace Phillip Schofield in the coveted hosting slot.
His reputation only grew with stints on Britain’s Got More Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway, firmly establishing him as a household name. In 2023, his appointment as host of the Deal Or No Deal reboot signaled his prime-time dominance.

Though Bradley Walsh is believed to hold a higher total net worth (£20 million), Stephen is now reportedly out-earning him annually – a feat that speaks to both his consistency and business savvy, including property investments and smart production deals.
It’s been a long road from early mornings on Heart FM to top-tier paychecks – but Stephen’s mix of talent, persistence and behind-the-scenes strategy has landed him firmly at the top.
