Jack P Shepherd and his wife Hanni Treweek are celebrating the arrival of their first child together after welcoming a beautiful baby girl.
The Coronation Street star, 38, shared the heartwarming news on Sunday, revealing their daughter was born peacefully at home on Friday.
Announcing the happy arrival on Instagram, Jack wrote: “Constance Ita Shepherd. Our beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love. 26.6.26.”
The announcement was quickly met with an outpouring of love from friends, fans and fellow Coronation Street stars. Actress Sally Dynevor commented: “Oh wonderful so happy for you, what a beautiful name. Lots of love to you all xxxx.”
The couple first revealed they were expecting a baby back on Valentine’s Day, posting a romantic video filmed at a country house. The sweet clip showed Jack affectionately kissing Hanni’s growing baby bump as the pair strolled through the grounds together.
Alongside the video, Hanni wrote: “We’ve been keeping a secret… June 2026. Thank you so much to the dream team who made this so special for us.”
Although this is Jack and Hanni’s first child together, the actor is already a father-of-three. He shares daughter Nyla Rae, 17, and son Reuben, 12, with his former fiancée Lauren Shippey, while he also has a 15-year-old son, Greyson, with ex-partner Sammy Milewski.
Jack’s private life previously attracted widespread attention after Greyson was conceived during a one-night stand while he was engaged to Lauren. Greyson was later diagnosed with alternating hemiplegia, a rare and incurable genetic neurological disorder that causes recurring episodes of temporary paralysis, severe pain and symptoms that can affect either side of the body.
After initially denying he was Greyson’s father, DNA testing confirmed Jack’s paternity, leading to the collapse of his relationship with Lauren. Although the pair eventually reconciled and even became engaged once again, they split for good in 2017 after 15 years together.
It has since been reported that Jack’s involvement with Greyson is limited to paying child maintenance.
Jack found love with Hanni later in 2017 after the pair met while working on Coronation Street. While Jack has played David Platt on the ITV soap since he was just 12 years old, Hanni initially worked in the programme’s press office before becoming one of its storyline writers, earning credits on more than 500 episodes. She later left the show to pursue a career as a fashion influencer.
Just days before becoming a father again, Jack had also been keeping fans updated on his third hair transplant.
The actor surprised listeners of his On The Sofa podcast when he appeared with a freshly shaved head following the latest procedure.
Explaining why he decided to undergo another transplant, Jack said: “This is my third one. So most people are thinking, I thought you’d just get one hair transplant and then it’s Elvis. But that’s not the case apparently, because baldness still progresses as time goes on.”
He explained that he had previously undergone procedures in 2018 and 2019, but noticed his hairline continuing to recede.
Speaking about the timing of the operation, Jack added: “No because I could see it, I could see it further back in the middle. I could see it going in. So it was sort of act now while I could and I had a bit of time off for the baby, so it was perfect.”
Now, after welcoming little Constance Ita, Jack and Hanni are beginning an exciting new chapter together as a family.
