Brooklyn Beckham has accused his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of using his sister Harper as a pawn by allegedly staging photo opportunities as she attempted to visit his £14million Los Angeles mansion.

Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly accused his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of using his younger sister Harper as a pawn in the family’s bitter ongoing rift after the 14-year-old was photographed attempting to visit his lavish £14million Los Angeles mansion.

The emotional incident unfolded on Friday when Harper, who had been in Los Angeles to celebrate David Beckham receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, was seen arriving at Brooklyn’s Beverly Hills home. Reports claimed she was carrying a handwritten letter intended for her estranged brother.

However, representatives for Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz insisted the circumstances surrounding the visit were highly suspicious.

They told the Daily Mail: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”

According to insiders close to the couple, Brooklyn believes the photographs were orchestrated and that his teenage sister had been caught in the middle of the increasingly bitter family dispute.

The images themselves have not been published, but Harper was reportedly left looking upset after approaching the property and leaving just moments later.

Adding another twist to the saga, Brooklyn was not even in California when Harper arrived at his front door.

The 27-year-old shared footage on Instagram showing himself out for a run in New York City, confirming he was on the opposite side of the country at the time of the attempted visit.

Harper had travelled to Los Angeles alongside brothers Romeo and Cruz and mother Victoria to support David Beckham as he received one of Hollywood’s most prestigious honours.

Despite the ongoing headlines surrounding the family fallout, David refused to discuss the issue publicly.

When asked whether months of reports about the rift had taken a toll on him, the football legend replied: “To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.”

Relations between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family have deteriorated dramatically over the past year, particularly after he and Nicola failed to attend David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May 2025.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn released a scathing six-page statement distancing himself from what he called “Brand Beckham” and reportedly described his parents and siblings as “performative”.

The divide widened further when Brooklyn blocked David and Victoria on Instagram shortly before Christmas, while lawyers acting for both sides later agreed that all communication should be handled through legal representatives.

Brooklyn has also accused his parents of controlling much of his life and attempting to create tensions between him and Nicola. He additionally claimed he was left embarrassed by his mother during the first dance at his wedding.

Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham has previously acknowledged the difficulties that come with raising older children in the public eye.

Speaking about her family, she said: “Being a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it’s very different from having little children.”

“I think that we’re trying to do the best we can,” she added.

Addressing suggestions that the controversy could damage her business empire, Victoria insisted: “I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good. I don’t think they’re buying my eyeliner just because it’s me.”
